1.What is Allahabad Bank Debit Card?
The Allahabad Bank Debit Card is a PIN based card that gives electronic access to your Bank account with Allahabad Bank. The Card allows you to make purchase at Merchant Establishments across India and abroad and also gives you the freedom to withdraw cash from any Allahabad bank/VISA/Mastercard/NFS Member Bank ATMs in India and abroad. The card can also be used to perform online purchases, ie. E-com transactions


 

2.How will I know which ATMs accept the Allahabad Bank Debit Card?
All ATMs displaying the Rupay/VISA/Mastercard logo including Allahabad Bank ATMs will accept the Card.


 

3. What are the main benefits of being a Debit Cardholder?
The main benefit of being a Cardholder is that you enjoy access to your BANK account- wherever you go, without having cash in your wallet.


 

4. How many digits is the secure ATM PIN? Can it be changed?
The ATM PIN is always 4 digits. It can be changed at any Allahabad Bank ATMs or NFS Member Bank ATMs. New ATM PIN can also be generated through customerís Internet Banking Account.


 

5. Are there charges levied for the use of card at other Bank ATMs?
Yes. Five transactions are free in a calendar month. After that all transactions are chargeable.


 

6.Are there any withdrawal limits?

ATM cash withdrawal limit is Rs.25,000/- per day and Rs.25,000/- per day at a Merchant Establishments (POS)/e-com for all Classic cards. For Gold cards the corresponding limits are Rs. 50,000/- and Rs. 1,00,000. For Platinum cards the corresponding limits are Rs. 1,00,000/- and Rs. 2,00,000.These limits are subject to availability of balance in your account


 

7.Whom should I contact if my card is lost or stolen?

If your card is lost or stolen you can immediately block it by sending SMS as BLOCKCARD < SPACE > < last 6 digits of card no> or BLOCKACCT < SPACE > < last 6 digits of linked account no >from your registered Mobile no to 9223150150.Also, card can be blocked immediately through Internet Banking account. Card can be blocked by calling our 24 hour Customer Service Center on Toll free no. 18005722000 and also through the branch where you maintain your account


 

8. Do I need to retain my copy of the charge slip?

It is advisable to retain and verify charge slip against your account statement/passbook entry.


 

9. What is the validity period of my Card?

Your Card is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.


 

10.Where to contact for assistance in case of any issue related to transactions?
